I live in Oklahoma City so if you watch the news you would know we had a record high of 14 inches of snow this past Christmas. I brought the Air force 1 almost a year ago, wore them maybe 5 times because they started to look too big on my feet so they were sitting in my closet. It started to snow around 9:00 AM Christmas eve by 2:00 PM cars were already getting stranded. My sister in-law's best friend got stuck so she went on to help her, well while doing that my sister in-law got stuck as well. My sister in-law's brother, my brother and I went out to help them, i don't own any boots and did not wanted to mess up my other shoes that i wear on a daily basis so i took the AF1, long story short we got stuck too! but thanks to The Air Force 1's my feet were kept dry and warm. These shoes are not only comfortable, classy and stylish but good for when stuck in a snow blizzard with 14 inches of snow beneath you.

Puma Shoes 917 LO Factory

Fusing function, fashion and art, Puma elevates the simple lace-up canvas sneaker to new heights. Inspired by pop art from the 1960s, particularly Andy Warhol’s work, these shoes are visually impressive, with every line appearing almost three dimensional. Decidedly of-the-moment, but with a retro spin, these sneakers will breathe new life into all of your classics. Try them with a trench or with one of fall 2009's double-breasted toppers for an experimental, yet not over-the-top, ensemble. Despite being gray themselves, these sneakers are so fun, they’ll brighten even the rainiest mood or day.

TOMS Shoes

"ONE FOR ONE
TOMS Shoes was founded on a simple premise: With every pair you purchase, TOMS will give a pair of new shoes to a child in need. One for One. Using the purchasing power of individuals to benefit the greater good is what we're all about.
OUR STORY
In 2006 an American traveler, Blake Mycoskie, befriended children in Argentina and found they had no shoes to protect their feet. Wanting to help, he created TOMS Shoes, a company that would match every pair of shoes purchased with a pair of new shoes given to a child in need. One for One. Blake returned to Argentina with a group of family, friends and staff later that year with 10,000 pairs of shoes made possible by caring TOMS customers.
Since our beginning, TOMS has given over 140,000* pairs of shoes to children in need through the One for One model. Because of your support, TOMS plans to give over 300,000 pairs of shoes to children in need around the world in 2009.
Our ongoing community events and Shoe Drop Tours allow TOMS supporters and enthusiasts to be part of our One for One movement. Join us.
WHY SHOES?
Most children in developing countries grow up barefoot. Whether at play, doing chores or just getting around, these children are at risk.
Walking is often the primary mode of transportation in developing countries. Children can walk for miles to get food, water, shelter and medical help. Wearing shoes literally enables them to walk distances that aren't possible barefoot.
Wearing shoes prevents feet from getting cuts and sores on unsafe roads and from contaminated soil. Not only are these injuries painful, they also are dangerous when wounds become infected. The leading cause of disease in developing countries is soil-transmitted parasites which penetrate the skin through open sores. Wearing shoes can prevent this and the risk of amputation.
Many times children can't attend school barefoot because shoes are a required part of their uniform. If they don't have shoes, they don't go to school. If they don't receive an education, they don't have the opportunity to realize their potential.
There is one simple solution...SHOES.
Of the planet's six billion people, four billion live in conditions inconceivable to many. Lets take a step towards a better tomorrow."

Kung Fu Shoes

About a week ago while my car was getting some work done at the shop i was roaming around The Asian District and i decided to check out their super market; god lee!! i have never seem so many seasonings in my life!! anyways i purchased a couple of passion juice cans which are my favorite and then i came across this Kung fu shoes and they immediately caught my attention, so i purchase a pair and till this day i feel like this is the best investment i have made in my 22 years of life.
Why? Well...To begin with they are affordable. Sturdy cotton, silk, and velvet Chinese shoes with rubber soles go with any fabric in any season, dressy or casual, at any age. They fit any type of foot because they simply take the shape of the foot they are on.
